Hi was in the process of having a missed miscarriage, leongatha hospital and their staff were absolutely fantastic in this time, as soon as I arrived with contractions they immediately orginised pain relief, they made my stay in hospital as comfortable as it could be in a time Like that, and where there for me every step of the way. They went above and beyond and also found a funeral director who was happy to cremate my bub free of charge. Even after leaving hospital they followed up with me the next day to ensure I was OK, and there was no complications.
Super friendly staff, maternity ward is amazing.

Ambulance picked me up and saved my life (literally had to stabilise me three times).As this is public let's say I had a choice which hospital. I chose Leongatha as opposed to Wonthaggi. The reason being because the Ambulance officers were based at Leongatha.However arriving at Leongatha hospital was quite a different story.Now once the paramedics left I was put into a private room (not a problem).Then I was told minutes later that "I should not be here, because I wasn't from this area" and staff members were ridiculing the paramedics who had left for their next job right outside my room!!! Within earshot. Very disappointing.
